Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) denied local new reports about receiving a request from Lebanon’s Bank Audi to sell its operations in Egypt, according to a statement on Monday.

Bank Audi has started its operations in the North African nation after acquiring Cairo Far East Bank in March 2006.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian unit’s profits accounted for 16.4% of Bank Audi’s profits during the period ended 30 June 2019.
